Alumni of the Month!

Let’s welcome the lovely Alexandria Kern as our Alumni of the Month! Hey Alex thanks so much for answering my questions today! What are you currently doing for school or as a career? “I am currently in the Coast Guard in Hawaii.” What was your best high school memory? “My best high school memories would have to be playing volleyball with Rachel Rivette and Alex Pivetti!” Where do you see yourself in five years? “In five years I hope to be in the Coast Guard or working with law enforcement within the guard. I also will be working towards a Bachelor’s degree in marine science but that is still in the works.” What kind of advice do you have for current high school students? “For this question I would have to say to students do your best in high school and work towards what you love because nobody really knows what they want to do in the future. So strive for what you love.” Do you miss anything about high school? “The only thing I miss about high school is playing sports. I absolutely loved high school sports.” What is your favorite part about being out of high school? “My favorite part is being able to decide and figure things out for myself. I can make my own mistakes and learn from them. What are your hobbies outside of work? “ My hobbies include

Hiking, surfing, snorkeling, boxing, and photography.” Where did you grow up? “I was born in Long Beach but I spent most of my life in Pine Mountain Club.” Are there any quotes that inspire you? “Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God.-Corrie Ten Boom” Thank you again for taking the time to speak with me and good luck to you in all your ventures!
