Welcome Back Falcons!

Another year of school has started, and there's plenty to be excited about. This year we have gotten new teachers, exciting classes, and fun events! If you have a chance, stop by the art room and meet our newest teacher, Mr. Ellis. The art room itself has been totally remodeled with pottery wheels and even a kiln!

The schedule this year has been changed to include a wide variety of new classes. For those of you who want the challenge, the school now offers Honors Chemistry and Honors English Literature. Along with our new art teacher, we have gotten specialized 2-D Drawing and 3-D Studio Design classes. There is also now an AP art! Lastly, it's your time to shine; Drama class is now available and includes not only acting, but set design, costuming/makeup, and sound and light operating. And don’t forget, Law Enforcement is an actual class this year!

Don’t miss out on all the back to school activities coming up. We have the Back-to-School Rally and the first dance of the year: the Aloha Dance. Academy is planning a welcoming luncheon and plenty of field-trips for its members. Also football and volleyball have started! And the events don’t stop in September: Homecoming is coming up in October! Remember to start your year out right. Have a good one Falcons!
