Today, we interviewed Angelica Najar, campus supervisor at FMHS. She is the Faculty of the Month for the month of October, and here is what she had to say:
FB (The Falcon Beat): Can you start off by telling us a little bit about yourself?
AN (Angelica Najar): Ya, I’m Angelica Najar, campus supervisor here at Frazier mountain High School. I worked almost 15 years for the Los Angeles County Probation Department and the Juvenile Hall system. I came across an article in the paper, and that’s how I ended up here at Frazier Mountain High School.
FB: Wow, that’s really cool! How long have you been here now?
AN: 10 years!
FB: That’s pretty good.
AN: Haha.
FB: What’s your favorite color?
AN: Uh… burgundy and black.
FB: Burgundy and black… those are pretty good! But what is your favorite root vegetable?
AN: Hahaha… Potatoes?
FB: Potatoes! Great Choice!
AN: (Hardy laugh)
FB: Don’t hear that one too often (hint of playful sarcasm).
(Matt Kjenaas asked this one): Do you have a good time at the school?
AN: Ya, I enjoy coming to work every day! It’s pretty interesting, never the same thing.
FB: That’s really cool! Thank you for your time!
AN: Ok.
FB: We’ll send you an email when your article’s out.
AN: Sounds good, thank you guys!
