Every year, thousands of music's brightest stars make the journey to Las Vegas for the highly sought after iHeartRadio Music Festival. The main event was held at Las Vegas’s new attraction, the T-Mobile Arena, and the daytime portion of the show was held at the Las Vegas village. The festival spanned over two days: Friday and Saturday, September 23rd 24th. Stars ranging all the way from Drake to Hailee Steinfeld gathered for the festivities on Friday night with Billy Idol opening the show. The show was once again hosted by Ryan Seacrest, who is always the star of the show. The first night of the star-studded event featured performances from Drake, U2, Sia, OneRepublic and Miley Cyrus, who joined Billy Idol on stage for a surprise performance. The festivities continued on Saturday with Hailee Steinfeld and others performing at the Daytime Village.

On Saturday all the focus was placed back on the main stage where Sting, Usher, Cage the Elephant, Pitbull, Ariana Grande, Florida Georgia Line, Zedd, Tears for Fears, and Britney Spears performed. Of course Britney did not disappoint, with her spending many weekends serving out her “Piece of Me” residency in Las Vegas’s hottest casino, Planet Hollywood. For this special show, though, she traveled to nearby paradise to join all the top celebrities at the T-Mobile Arena.
Just like Jennifer Lopez and Mariah Carey before them, everyone’s favorite ‘90s boy band made an announcement that they would be heading to Las Vegas for their very own show. Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson, Brian Littrell, Howie Dorough and A.J. McLean all surprised fans at the iHeartRadio Music Festival by joining Florida Georgia Line on stage. After the country group ended their set, the boy band returned to the stage for a musical set including hits like “I Want It That Way” and “As Long as You Love Me” after announcing their residency.
The IHeartRadio music festival has been an ongoing extravaganza for the past 6 years, and has quickly become one of the most talked about music events of the year. The Festival is a live representation of the different music experience that fans find and enjoy through the iHeartRadio app. With fans anxiously waiting for next years lineup announcement, the best they can do is visit the iHeartRadio app to enjoy their favorite artists for the time being.
