Cross Country High Desert League Finals at Home!

The FMHS cross country team was given the opportunity to host league finals on Wednesday, November 9th! Our eight runners were up against five other teams. Here are their times and placements:
Aden Wiebers came in twelfth with a time of 20:01.
Dawson Ford was in thirteenth and only six seconds behind with a time of 20:07.
Lucas Flores took twenty-third place with a time of 22:01.
Nathan Steers wasn’t far behind in twenty-fourth place with a time of 22:23.
Next was Otto Jensen in thirty-first place with a time of 25:17.
Johnn Castro came in thirty-second with a time of 26:55.
Austin Flores was in thirty-third place with a time of 29:38.
For the girls race, Masey Zimmerman came in sixteenth place with a time of 29:59.
The Rosamond boys took first place as a team with 34 points; Bishop came in second with 50 points; in third place was California City with 55 points; FMHS took fourth place with 104 points; Desert came in fifth with 122 points; and Kern Valley was disqualified.
The FMHS girls didn’t have a full team.
