On November 2nd, the FMHS cross country team survived the eight hour drive to and from Bishop -- for the second time this season! All ten of our runners were able to compete in this dual meet against Bishop. The boys were up against twenty five other runners; the girls against fourteen. Here’s how they did:

Aden Wiebers took fourth place with a time of 19:34.

Dawson Ford came in sixth with a time of 20:27.

Nathan Steers was in tenth place with a time of 21:36.

Lucas Flores followed closely behind in eleventh place with a time of 21:56.

Otto Jensen came in twelfth with a time of 23:49.

Austin Flores was in thirteenth place with a time of 26:13.

Next was Johnn Castro in fourteenth place with a time of 29:38.

Eric Henning was injured this race, but finished strong in fifteenth place with a time of 30:38.

For the girls race, Masey Zimmerman came in tenth place with a time of 28:06.

The Bishop boys scored first place with 18 points; FMHS came in second place with 43 points.

The FMHS girls didn’t have enough runners to score as a team.

Great job to all of our Falcon runners! We wish you the best during the High Desert League Finals!
